English versionpost release russian investment and building forum (risf) 2011 Russian Investment and Building Forum (RISF) 2011 was held December 7 through 10, 2011 in Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. The forum aimed to enhance networking capacity amongst investment stakeholders searching for appealing options for their financial investments, including relevant governmental structures which provide precondition for favourable environment for investment climate development, businesses, international organizations, investment promotion agencies, civil society, and international investment experts and practitioners from across the world. Russian Investment and Building Forum (RISF) 2011 incorporated a topical business program held in the format of meetings, presentations, conferences and seminars covering issues related to modern construction development and the 3rd specialized exhibition of construction materials, services and investments Building Season including a number of specialized expositions. The organizers of the project were the Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation, the National Builders’ Association (NOSTROI), the National Designers’ Association (NOP), the National Surveyors’ Association (NOIZ), the National Agency for Low-rise and Cottage Construction (NAMIKS) and Crocus Expo IEC. The following high-ranking guests participated in the Gala Opening Ceremony of RISF 2011:
About 5000 specialists, representatives of about 500 companies of construction industry, governmental bodies, top managers of construction branch from more than 84 regions of the Russian Federation attended RISF 2011. The All-Russian meeting Building Complex – a Locomotive for Economic Development initiated and organized by the Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation became the highlight of the first day of the Forum. Victor Basarguin, Minister for Regional Development of the Russian Federation, reported about the segment status in the course of 10 months of 2011. Martin Shakkum, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma on Construction and Land Affairs also spoke at the Forum. Efim Basin, President of the National Builders’ Association (NOSTROI), told about plans and results of self-regulating in construction industry. Elena Nikolaeva, President of the National Agency for Low-rise and Cottage Construction (NAMIKS), told about development of low-rise and cottage construction in Russia. The second day was devoted to issues related to self-regulation in building industry. Plenary session Self-regulation as a Tool for Construction Branch Management and a number of round tables were held during the day. The third day was devoted to issues related to the development of low-rise and cottage construction in Russia. The specialists had an opportunity to attend the 4th National Congress Low-rise Construction and New Quality of Life and conference European Energy Efficient Housing 2011. Awarding ceremonies for the winners of national competitions and awards, including the awarding ceremony for the winners of annual national award instituted by NAMIKS and rewarding of winners of Strojmaster contest instituted by NOSTROI were held within the frames of the Forum. The enterprises and organizations recognized as winners were awarded with diplomas. The overall exhibit space of Russian Investment and Building Forum (RISF) 2011 expositions comprised about 7000 sq m where more than 150 companies from 20 regions of the Russian Federation, the CIS countries and foreign countries displayed their goods and services.
